Moritz Dehler is a German cinematographer. He gained experience in the film industry as an AC before starting his studies of cinematography at the renowned University of Television and Film Munich (HFF Munich). In addition to commercials and fictional films he also shoots documentaries which give him the opportunity to develop his artistic visual language further. Several films that Moritz shot have received international awards (Clio, NYF, ADC, Young Ones). „The Thoughts Of Our Ancestors“ (Dir. Kokutekeleza Musebeni) was nominated for the Student Academy Awards 2024. „where we used to sleep“ (Dir. Matthäus Wörle) is nominated for the Grimme-Preis 2025 and the German Camera Award (Deutscher Kamerapreis) 2025.
